By accessing or using the website located at augustaconcreteandmasonry.com, or by requesting, scheduling, or receiving services from Keystone Augusta Concrete & Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who submits an inquiry through our website or contacts us directly.
Keystone Augusta Concrete & Masonry is a masonry and concrete contractor based in Augusta, GA. Our services include, but are not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, driveway pavers, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, outdoor kitchen masonry, walkway construction, and related masonry and concrete work.
All services are subject to a written estimate and agreement before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion. The scope of work is defined by the written proposal provided to the customer before the start of any job.
All estimates provided by Keystone Augusta Concrete & Masonry are based on conditions observed at the time of the on-site assessment. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted in writing.
An estimate is not a guaranteed final price. Final pricing may be adjusted if conditions discovered during the work differ materially from those observed during the initial assessment, if the customer requests changes to the scope of work, or if unforeseen site conditions require additional materials or labor. We will notify the customer of any change in scope before proceeding with additional work that affects cost.
Written change orders are required for any additions or reductions to the original scope. Verbal agreements for scope changes are not binding on either party.
Scheduled work dates are confirmed in writing or by phone. We make every reasonable effort to complete work on the agreed schedule. Weather conditions, material availability, and other factors outside our control may require rescheduling. We will contact you as soon as possible if a delay occurs.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled job, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a fee to cover mobilization costs already incurred, as described in your project agreement.
If a deposit has been paid and a customer cancels before work begins, the deposit may be non-refundable as outlined in the project agreement, particularly if materials have already been ordered or fabricated.
Payment terms are specified in each written project agreement. In general, we may require a deposit at the time of project agreement, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the work. For larger projects, progress payments may be structured and outlined in the written agreement.
Payment is due in full upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by check, cash, or other methods described in your project agreement. Late payments may be subject to a finance charge as permitted by applicable law.
We reserve the right to place a materialman's lien on the property for any unpaid balances as allowed under Georgia law or applicable law in the state where the work was performed.
When permits are required for the scope of work, we will obtain them on your behalf unless otherwise agreed in writing. Permit fees are billed as a pass-through cost. Work requiring a permit will not be considered complete until the applicable inspection has passed. We will coordinate inspections as required. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any required access to the property is available for inspection purposes.
The customer agrees to:
We are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities or structures that were not disclosed before work began.
Keystone Augusta Concrete & Masonry warrants its workmanship for a period of one year from the date of project completion, unless a longer or shorter period is specified in the written project agreement. This warranty covers defects in workmanship directly caused by our work. It does not cover:
Material warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer of the materials and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We make no representation regarding the duration or coverage of manufacturer warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Keystone Augusta Concrete & Masonry for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of business income, or damage to property not directly related to the work being performed, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
